The Baby Bloomer Pattern

This past weekend, I was in Calgary celebrating a bachelorette for one friend and a baby shower for another. Yes, two events in one weekend! I have a close knit group of girls and it is usually difficult for all of us to meet up since we all live in different areas in Canada. So, when we do get together you can bet there are a lot of special events to celebrate.
In preparation for the shower, I had been working hard to create some new and exciting patterns for baby clothes. Of course, these patterns are completely influenced by one of my closest friends expecting a baby girl this summer. I just had to create a few new original patterns for her baby.
In last week’s post, you saw that I purchased a half yard of knit fabric to make some 0-3 clothing items. I had already made my top knot newborn hat and some harem pants from the fabric! Well, these bloomers were the perfect pattern to use up the remaining fabric. They are super easy to make and I would say, it is the perfect pattern for beginner sewists. The pattern provides some detailed instructions and pictures. For now, I have only the 0-3 month sizing for this pattern. Next week I plan to have sizes 0-24 up in the shop!
